Solitary extramedullary plasmacytoma

Abstract

Solitary plasmacytoma is a rare form of plasma cell neoplasm with a single location and no signs of multiple myeloma. In its extramedullary form, the prognosis, after curative surgery or radiotherapy, is quite positive. We present the case of a patient with a classic disease presentation and a 9-year follow-up without signs of recurrence or progression to multiple myeloma.
